Dr. Ozcan Ozdemir was born in Turkey. He finished his medical faculty in Ankara. He started his Neurology Residency on 1998. He started performing Diagnostic Cerebral and Spinal Angiogram since his residency period in Eskisehir Osmangazi University Department of Neurology. During his last year of his residency he studied in Stroke Unit and Stroke Clinic in Toronto Sunybrook Hospital for 3 months with Professor NAorris. Between 2004-2007 he has finished his Clinical Cerebrovascular Disease Fellowship Programme at University of Western Ontario, London, Canada. He worked with Professor Vladimir Hachinski and Professor David Spence. He also worked in Neurocritical Care Unit and Neuroradiology Department. He has been working at Eskisehir Osmangazi University Medical Faculty Department of Neurology. He worked with Dr Henkes for improving his skills in “Endovascular Stroke Therapy” at University of Stuttgart Germany. Currently Professor Ozdemir is a director of Neurocritical Care and Interventional Vascular Neurology Programme in Eskisehir. Dr Ozdemir has trained seven Interventional Neurologists under official “Interventional Vascular Neurology-Neurosurgery Fellowship Programme” and three Neurocritical Care Specialist under “Neurocritical Care Programme”.
